Sheila Corkery was born in Southampton on December 20, 1936. She is much loved and will always be remembered by her husband of 53 years, Paddy and her six children, Philip, Angela, Pauline, Susan, Yvonne & Maria.

Sheila was my sister in law since 1962.She was always happy and cheerful. We had many good times. Sheila was always ready to try anything. She even succeeded in learning the irish card game of 31.I have many good memories of all the good times we spent together in Stevenage, Coventry and Southampton.Always remembered in our prayers and thoughts

Sheila was my friend for 60 years. We met as teenagers and were very close. She was a bridesmaid at my wedding and I should have been hers but I was too pregnant at the time. I moved away from Southampton so we kept in touch by phone or letters, but when we did meet we took up our conversation as if we had parted only moments ago. 9 years on Mum & still miss you tons. Sorry no flowers this year but you won’t believe what is going on in the world today strange times COVID-19 pandemic has hit the world we are all in lockdown & social distancing its like being in a bad B movie. Wish you knew Beany you would adore her. She noticed a sparkly star last night & said it was you watching over us. We talk about you often so she knows who you are & of course carries your name on. Sleep well xxxx
